Appearence
John Bender's attire has long brown hair and has a pierced ear. John's attire through most of the film is a red plaid shirt, fingerless gloves, torn pants and heavy workboots. His clothes are relatively worn in comparison to the other teens.
Personality
John Bender is initially shown to be a bully, emotionally and in some cases physically abusing and intimidating the other teens, however as the film progresses he begins to lighten up and becomes nicer towards the others.
